# getAssetBySymbol(s)

Get asset unit by symbol(s)

### Spec

getAssetBySymbol(symbol: string, registryAddress?: string)
getAssetBySymbols(symbols: string[], registryAddress?: string)
```

### Example

```javascript
await Client.getAssetBySymbol('IUSD_V2');
```

```javascript
await Client.getAssetBySymbols(['IUSD_V2', 'IUSD']);
```

If registryAddress is not specified, library uses the registry address set by default on the hub. By default, this is the address O6H6ZIFI57X3PLTYHOCVYPP5A553CYFQ, however, the hub owner can change it to another address.
